With the data, descriptive and multivariate analyzes (factorial and confirmatory factorial) were developed in order to identify the variables that most influenced performance and sustainability in the residents' perception. The results showed that the perception of sustainability is more related to aspects of appearance, security, garbage and recyclable collection, public transport and suitable neighborhood for people with disabilities. Thus, the research contributes by bringing reflections on the main aspects to be observed in the planning of sustainable neighborhoods and cities.
