Abstract

The study presents an approach to the execution of a superficial foundation in a single-family residential unit, located in the city of Santana do Araguaia-PA. The objective of this work was to analyze a case study and propose appropriate solutions for the execution of a superficial foundation, considering the characteristics of the soil and the specificities of the construction market, as well as the local workforce. The development of the research included a solid basis of bibliographical research, making it possible to safely analyze the case study related to the infrastructure of the residential unit, single-family type, with an approach to building load factors associated with current regulations. The result consists of a brief analytical study regarding the execution of this foundation, contributing to the debate in the area of ​​engineering, observing the importance of recording this constructive technical knowledge related to the stability and durability of the building in the southern region of Pará, in order to maintain them available for future discussions on the specification of the foundation, based on the technical and economic feasibility of the level of complexity of the work.
