This article addresses the intersection between urban green spaces, mental health, and sustainable design, emphasizing the importance of these elements in promoting well-being in urban environments. Considering the relevance of seven United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to sustainable design, with a special focus on SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), the research explores how mental health, in particular, is fundamental to achieving a healthier and more sustainable world. The relationship between mental health, urban green spaces, and sustainable design is examined, recognizing that increased urbanization can contribute to mental health issues such as stress, anxiety, and depression. Urban green spaces, such as parks and recreational areas, are seen as more than just aesthetic elements, playing a crucial role in promoting physical and mental health. The social interaction facilitated by these spaces, especially during the pandemic, underscores their importance in building healthy communities
