ANÁLISE DA GESTÃO DE RESÍDUOS TÊXTEIS NO CONTEXTO PARAENSE, SOB O ÂMBITO DE ABORDAGENS SUSTENTÁVEIS: ECONOMIA CIRCULAR E UPCYCLING

Abstract

In the face of significant social and environmental challenges, approaches with a sustainability bias are emerging as a need for broad discussion and applicability. In this way, this article aims to describe sustainable strategies that can be linked to textile waste management in the context of Pará, with an emphasis on the Circular Economy and Upcycling. Through a literature review, documentary research and the application of a virtual form on Google Forms, it was possible to qualitatively and quantitatively assess the instabilities that are intrinsically related to the low percentage of knowledge about the basic concepts of the article's object of study, as well as to gauge the weaknesses/inconsistencies in the regulatory field, which are intrinsically related to the poor management of textile waste in Pará.
