This article is a reflection on the fight against racism at school through affirmative actions that value black culture. The work presents the process of planning, development and results obtained through the execution of the interdisciplinary project Respect has no color, it has Conscience. This project was carried out at the Wenceslau de Queiroz Municipal School, submitted and approved for participation in the 1st Afro-Brazilian Pedagogical Fair in the city of Tefé-AM, in celebration of Black Consciousness Day. The objective of this study was to promote a space for listening and debate about the legacy of black culture for Brazilian society, as well as respect for diversity and the fight against racial prejudice. The conceptual foundation of this study and its analyzes was based on bibliographic and documentary research. The result could contribute to the formation of more conscious, critical and participatory students in relation to racial identity and equality, with people valuing their blackness.
