This article presents the results of field research carried out as a course conclusion work. The case study sought to analyze the practices developed in the portuguese language specialized educational service at the school, in the municipality of Tefé-AM. The methods used were literature review, evaluation, interview with a teacher, data collection, use of a questionnaire and observation. For data analysis, the information collected was systematized and categorized. The results highlight the pedagogical practices developed in the Portuguese Language Specialized Educational Service, which has sought to advance school-family relations and pedagogical practices.
