This study aims to report the development of urban furniture using recycled polymers, designed for children's areas in public spaces, adopting modular architecture as a design principle. The research analyzed the environmental impacts resulting from the production and disposal of polymers, proposing solutions based on the circular economy to extend the material's lifespan. The literature review highlighted the importance of childhood for human development and its influence on awareness regarding the production, consumption, and disposal of polymers. Based on analyses and field research, the study identified the significance of public spaces and parental involvement in children's leisure activities. The developed furniture consists of three separate modules, allowing for multiple uses: a maze for children and seats suitable for different age groups. The proposal considers ergonomic parameters for children aged four to eight, as well as anthropometric measurements for adults, promoting intergenerational interaction.
