The main objective of this work is to present the materials and experiments used in the prototype of the UFSM CPE, with emphasis on Post Occupation Evaluation. The CPE was conceived as a low-cost residence, based on social interest and the search for sustainable solutions and improvements in the built environment. The evaluation carried out in this study is presented from the perspective of students living in the prototype, addressing several relevant aspects in an APO. Topics such as compartmentalization and functionality of the property, possible identified constructive flaws, performance of materials and devices used, in addition to aspects of comfort, including thermal aspects, natural and artificial lighting, acoustics and natural ventilation are discussed. Additionally, the study seeks to bring to light the functionality, limitations and potential of the experiments and materials used in the CPE. Thus, the aim is to present possible sustainable solutions that can be applied in future construction projects.
