The individual's relationship with digital culture in contemporary times is established increasingly earlier, with the use of devices being widespread among children in the early years of their education to access content such as games, drawings, films among other activities, characterizing digital pueri, to identify this audience. This research sought to broaden the reflection on the impacts and benefits of Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DIT) in the performance of pedagogical activities to promote the literacy process in the initial phase of teaching, which covers children aged three to six years old, as well as in Early Childhood Education and the initial years of Elementary School. The study was prepared through bibliographical and qualitative research, observing studies available in the literature, which contribute and allow the identification of aspects that present the approximation of TDIC's with the development of pedagogical practices adopted in the literacy process of digital children. The result emphasized the networks necessary for learning to read and write, as well as the importance of using resources available in today's technological and media context.
