LEARNING DIFFICULTIES OF CHILDREN WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES IN A MUNICIPAL SCHOOL IN TEFÉ-AM

This work is the result of a field investigation carried out as the final work of the Degree in Pedagogy at the State University of Amazonas, at the Centro de Estudios Superiores de Tefé. The objective was to analyze the teaching and learning process of children with intellectual disabilities. The methodological procedure was organized in a case study with qualitative analysis. For data collection and analysis, bibliographic reviews, interviews and participant observation were used. To analyze the data, the results were tabulated and categorized. These results highlight the process of teaching and learning of students with intellectual disabilities in the multifunctional resource class, which has developed with the partial participation of families and the effort of the teacher.
